"The Young & The Restless" Marshmallow Game

You may be asking yourself "What in the blue blazes is a marshmallow game?" Well, let me explain, it's pretty much one those infamous drinking games, but since there's probably enough drunks out there, I decided to invent the internet's very first marshmallow game. The rules are simple:

1. Get a nice new bag of marshmallows.

2. Turn on CBS at 11:00AM Central Time.

3. And get ready to eat.

Note: If you are a health nut and don't like marshmallows, use lima beans.

Other rules--Eating 1 marshmallow means it's something that happened relatively frequently. Scarfing (eating 10 marshmallows) means that whatever it was happened one or twice in the history of the show, or never happened at all...heheh, I made it up. :-)

1 marshmallow if someone refuses to mind their own business. (watch out with this one, you'll end up on Jenny Craig in record time)

1 marshmallow if someone has the exact same conversation--slightly rephrased-- with another character everytime they are on screen together. 1 marshmallow if someone uses the exact same wording to describe their problem to everyone who asks about it.

1 marshmallow whenever someone having problems with their marriage or relationship uses the phrase, "We need to get our relationship back on track," or "Our relationship is back on track." 2 marshmallows if it's not said by Dru.

2 marshmallows whenever someone says "This isn't what it looks like." 1 marshmallow if someone visits someone claiming they "Just wanted to touch base."

2 marshmallows if a time hole appears---i.e. In one plot line it's Monday, yet in another it's last Thursday. Or if someone magically changes clothes more than once in the same "day." Scarf whenever someone undergoes a mysterious case of Rapid Aging Syndrome.

2 marshmallows when someone says, "I wonder what's going on with ________?" Also 2 marshmallows if someone replies by saying, "I don't know, but I'm gonna find out!" then dramatically leaves the room.

1 marshmallow whenever Malcolm refers to a female as someone's "woman."

1 marshmallow everytime Victor raises his voice and starts yelling for no apparent reason. 2 marshmallows if he yells at Jack for no apparent reason. Also 2 marshmallows if he yells at an annonymous person over the phone.. i.e. "Don't give me excuses!! I told you to plunge my toilet!! And I mean NOW!"

Scarf if Victor ever wears casual clothes that aren't black.

1 marshmallow if Victor launches off on a diatribe and ends it with the words "all right," but states it as fact rather than a question.

1 marshmallow if Victor calls Nick, "My boy."

2 marshmallow if someone declares, "I'm going to put a stop to it/this." Also 2 marshmallows if they say, "This has gone on long enough."

4 marshmallows if Victor gives someone a job that they are not qualified or trained for, then lays the responsibility if they fail on someone else.

1 marshmallow if Jack offers someone some practical advice. 2 marshmallows if Jack refers to himself in the third person, ie: "Ol' Smiling Jack is here!"

1 marshmallow if someone starts a sentence with the word "Look."

1 marshmallow if a Newman Enterprises or Jabot employee is dressed inappropriately for business. (i.e. mini-skirts, evening gowns, stuff that sparkles when the light hits it). 1 marshmallow if someone takes off from work and is gone for several hours, yet no one seems to notice.

1 marshmallow if someone gets all dressed up to go to dinner. 2 marshmallows if they go to the Collanade Room. 3 marshmallows if they use the "private dining room" there. 2 marshmallows if you wonder how much it costs to use the private dining room. 4 marshmallows if they have the Generic String Quartet playing in the background. Also 4 marshmallows if (miracle of miracles)Victor is not involved.

1 marshmallow if Paul looks around for a file on his desk. 1 marshmallow if he can't find it and asks Lynne what happened to it. 1 marshmallow if Lynne says, "Ok Boss." 2 marshmallows if Lynne rummages through a filing cabinet for about 1 minute, then comes up with the file, claiming it was misfiled. 5 marshmallows if you wonder why, despite being filed wrong, Lynne manages to find the elusive file almost instantly.

2 marshmallows if Paul's mother comes nosing around and won't stop harping about something.

1 marshmallow whenever someone refers to a kid as, "That precious child." or "That precious little boy/little girl." 2 if you personally fight the urge to gag whenever you hear this.

1 marshmallow whenever Jack refers to Victor as "The Mustache." or "The Black Knight."

3 marshmallows when Victor uses the word "hell." i.e. "What the hell were you thinking? You are never to exchange my regular coffee with new Folger's Crystals!!"

2 marshmallows if Miguel magically prepares a giant meal with split second notice.

2 marshmallows if Victor takes off in his stupid private jet. 3 marshmallows if you believe it is really powered by a warp engine since it takes only minutes to get from anywhere in the world to Genoa City.

1 marshmallow if someone can mysteriously tell when someone else is "not telling them everything."

2 marshmallow if someone says "I don't know where his/her head is." 5 if you wonder where someone's head is too.

1 marshmallow when Nikki snoops around in Nick's marriage. 2 if she declares "Something's going on here."

2 marshmallows whenever someone uses the word "Damn." 2 marshmallows if they use it refering to another character. 3 if they're refering to Victor.

2 marshmallows whenever a male character takes a "my way or the highway" attittude toward something their wife is doing.

1 marshmallow whenever Doris calls Sharon "girl."

2 marshmallows if someone refers to Micheal Baldwin as "That Micheal Baldwin"

3 marshmallows if someone throws a pool party. 5 if anyone actually gets in the pool.

3 marshmallows if someone gets married. 4 if it's their first marriage.

1 marshmallow when Victor acts like a jerk. (Haha--and you thought the one with people not minding their own business would get you fat!)

3 marshmallows whenever someone loiters in a doorway watching someone else.
